5 cosas: un Sábado

5 things:

1. Currently entertained: with this camera. This guy sent me this amazing Minolta. I'm finally playing with it today. Film is my favorite type to shoot. For those of you interested on film photography (or just curious) check about it here. Go to a local antique shop (or, if grace is upon you, a thrift store; I personally stalk eBay) and just pick one up and start shooting. If you're trendy and like to splurge, you can always buy these. {I got a Diana mini on sale and did this DIY}. Film makes me more patient in this "instant gratification" society we're living in. It reminds me to pause. Speaking of pause, join me and my friends as we go through the Pause devotional by Pastor Gary (one of the most creative godly guys I know). If you own a phone, kindle or iPad, & you're struggling in your walk with the Lord, this is a must! Did I mention it's free? It is!

2. Currently wearing: the Dalia bow made by yours truly. My shop is officially re-opened!  I will be adding more cuteness soon.

3. Currently reading: Tramp for the Lord by Corrie ten Boom. Why I recommend this book? It's pretty much a woman of God whose faith has been tried and she has remained faithful. She was sent to a Nazi concentration camp for harboring Jews. Her testimony is incredible. (I managed to buy this rare 1975 hardcover copy of it in my favorite color.)

4. Current cup of tea: Moon Cycle by yogi. It's the perfect woman's tea! I feel great already. And in case you're an avid tea lover like me, don't forget to catch Teatime Thursday vlogs @ Teatime Thoughts.

5. Current quote I'm loving: "We learned that in a country where a godless philosophy reigns, that only by claiming the blood of Jesus can you stand and not fall. The same is true in a city, or school, or even a church building. If Jesus Christ is not recognized as Supreme, then darkness rules." —Corrie Ten Boom, Tramp for the Lord (p. 75)

For all of you that noticed, I did change my layout! I wanted to receive fall with simplicity. I've been getting a lot of compliments on the layout as well as requests to make header's for other blogs (email me). Thank you so much for your kindness.

What do your 5 things look like today?
