"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality." —Romans 12:9-13During my travels, I've had to rely a lot on hospitality.
This girl and her family have shown me so much of the love of God through her hospitality.
I'm sooooooooooo grateful! Thank you for putting up with me & making me a part of your family.
I not only love cats because of you, but I wouldn't be following Jesus with such a zeal if it weren't for you and your mom. I can only repay you in being your best friend for the next 200 years.
You've lived out these verses & I hope I can too.
aww what sweet kitties :D
ReplyDeletebeautiful... the love, the hospitality and the cute cats :)
ReplyDeleteAw such beautiful cats! It's funny because the cats here don't look as good and furry as the ones overseas (in cold countries, especially).
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a really nice verse - served as a good reminder for myself. Just a little hospitality really takes people and relationships to far distances. x
Great Post. I follow your Blog now.

It's always such a blessing to meet people like this, especially ones who encourage you to grow in Christ. I love that passage and all the other ones that define how love should be.
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog, new follower.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing hospitality, I see it all around me, everyday.
& hey about dry shampoo. It's this girls best friend. You should definitely try it out. I even wear it on days when I have washed my hair because it helps reduce the oil and so my hair doesn't look greasy at the end of the day!
