Poetry that you taste with your eyes

posted on: 10.09.2010

Photography is like a visual poetry. Ever since I can remember, I've had a gift to rhyme. I'm not trying to be prideful, I really can't think without forming words in my head with a melodious touch. I used to think it was embarrassing to expose my poetry, so I never did. There was one time I entered a poetry contest at school (which I actually won) but I felt so humiliated that I refused to try it again. As I got older, I became enamored with the ability to capture pictures. I could capture something that can be sensed and perceived, creating out of something already created. People could see this poetry of mine. They could become poets themselves by looking at it. Poetry that was savored with the eyes.

Also, I don't know if you remember this post, but I'd like to introduce you to Wendy.
