Grateful Journey

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18
The past couple of days I've experienced an array of emotions. From sadness to laughter, from joy to anger, as God showed me all He has done for the past 2 years. I came only with two suitcases of clothes, a word from the Lord and a pocket full of faith, moving the biggest mountains of doubt I never thought able to. Since that day, I've come to know Him in the secret place... I've felt Him embrace me in my darkest and loneliest of nights. He melted my heart in his silence, and my valor grew in His furnace. Today, I pack my life for the last two years and I am in awe of how much stuff I've collected as I passed through. From letters to books to gifts, all pointing to Him.
There was so much I had to give away! Yet, my essentials my boxes are numerous.

Today I am grateful.
I am grateful for the opportunity of being in this place and knowing His heart.
I am grateful for the lives I touched and the lives that touched me deep.
I am grateful for being equipped in order to equip others.
I am grateful for Him breaking my pride, greed and bitterness.
I am grateful for the exchange of the teenager I was to the woman that I am.
I am grateful for His love that never seems to end.
I am grateful for it all: the tears and the smiles.

This journey is not mine, but His. I thank you for the prayers as I continue to take my spiritual assignments for this next season. I am confident that He takes me into this new level of glory.
