Lady: a polite name for a woman.
The Lord has given me a task to share with you what I've learned through those years, though there is still so much to learn! I recognize there is a big need for mentorship out there and God intends to use this as a vehicle of mentorship. I've invited some other godly ladies in for the ride to share their lessons too. I hope you enjoy the Lady Lessons Series.
This is for you, from God's heart to your lady heart. Prayer requests and questions will welcome through my email & formspring. Do not hesitate to do so. I look forward to taking each request & question to the Lord (as my commitment to you) and responding with truth. The lessons learned will touch every aspect of a woman, from singleness to marriage, from being a daughter to being a servant int he house of God.
Let's walk the path together to become the woman God is calling us to be. That when the call is heard, Who can find a virtuous lady? (Prov. 31:10) God will look down and smile at us; the virtuous lady is a God-fearing woman (Prov. 31:30).
beautiful thoughts. i cannot wait to read the rest of this series. <3
ReplyDeletethis sounds absolutely wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteme and a good sister were talking about this last night. As women who believe in marriage a lot of us often talk about marriage... Alot... Yes, I have and am guilty at times. But anyways she brought up the scripture about "who can find a virtuous woman" and we both just shut up. I thought about how much we must be seeking God fully to be content and dependent on Him only because otherwise we could end up married with a husband who stays on the roof because of the troublesome wives we are...
ReplyDeletebut yeah. I got a bit off topic.
Love the idea and new series. Your heart for the Lord is amazing.
blessed I found you girl!

what a lovely idea :)
ReplyDeleteWell hello Lovely! Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog today! I would definitely have to agree that the best honeymoon location is in the Caribbean... which is also probably a biased opinion haha!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think this is a brilliant idea! My husband and I just finished up youth pastoring at our church this past June, but last summer we did an entire series on "The Summer of Femininity"/"The Summer of Masculinity" for the boys and the girls. I love celebrating all that it means to be a woman (being lovely, fierce, gentle, kind, loyal, bold...) and all it means to be a man (warrior, poet, provider, gentle, peaceful, leader, full of integrity...). It was one of my favorite things we ever did as a youth group and I hope it helped guide the boys and girls into better understandings of who God made them to be and who He really is.
It's so nice to bloggy "meet" you!
