Hey there! Remember this post? Well, I've been working on a little something for you! I recently came across a Quiet Time Guide printable and it really inspired me. Even though I had been planning on making a Journaling Guide that was printable, I had trouble putting it all together! Anyways, This guide uses the S.O.A.P. method, adapted from the book The Divine Mentor by Wayne Cordeiro. It also features a quote from my own journal & doodles I've done.

Instructions: download > print > add to journal > share one with a friend (optional)

Journaling is a way of experiencing the Lord. Your journal begins to walk with you and trace the fingerprints of God in your life. I started in 2009 and have over 6 journals filled with lessons, tears, joy, celebrations, prophecies, doodles, epiphanies, quotes & people who have impacted me. From time to time, I'll go back on a journal to remind myself of what God did in a particular season. For example, I have my friendship & courtship with Louis documented. From the first day we met to the day he said he liked me up until our last argument (because as similar as we are and as hard as we seek God, we still have our differences and our sinful natures). I can't say God's hasn't been involved in my affairs because there is evidence! Often times, knowing that gives me the strength to carry on. Especially in the moments where God is silent and I have to hold on to the words He has already spoken.

  6. Ahh! This is such an awesome idea! I definitely find I have trouble focusing when I pray in my head (I always feel so guilty with my wandering thoughts! But there's always so much to think about!) Prayer journaling has helped me so much. It's amazing to look back on old journals and see prayers that God has answered/frustrations/joys and everything in between!
Thanks for doing this! I'm gonna download it!
