I got a letter today, from a girl at my previous church. She went on to serve at Ohio and got me a souvenir from her trip. I really cherish it because i needed a key chain. God works even in the smallest of details.

I found enough internet signal to blog!!!! To be frank, it's been a couple of good days. I'm friends with the most inspiring, not to mention beautiful, God-loving girls on campus. They have made my days full of adventures, even if it's just playing apples to apples, eating goldfish or watching Brian Reagan!

I'm taking 15 credits this semester, since I was originally taking 12. So far, all classes are a challenge (especially english comp I) but i'm up for it.
Yesterday, we had a community service project in which all new students participated. My group did cleaning for elderly people, and let me tell you, I served and was ministered by just doing the dishes. Before that experience i absolutely hated and avoided doing the dishes, but now i don't take it for granted because I now know that when you get older, you don't even have the strength to do such a simple task. I also met a few interesting people while working. Praise the Lord for service.

After, I went to the movies with Brisni & Anna to go watch Post grad. It was really cute and i not what i had expected, but overall pretty good. The highlights of the afternoon was the drive to the movies singing from the Anastasia soundtrack, hahaha.

That's really a few sentences to summarize my last few weeks. Oh, i got a car. I call it the Ashmobile. And i really miss blogging.

I miss writting, sketching, blogging and expressing myself in colors and letters. I promise to be back as soon as i possibly can.

Btw, my college is so far is described as: overwhelming, amazing, exciting and awesome.

In 11 days, College will hit me. I feel like i still haven't realized that I've made it this far. I had to sacrifice so much for it that, even though it was worth it, I just can't believe i went against all odds.

What? A day of giving that will make Speed The Light history.
When? 9.9.9 is Wednesday, September 9, 2009
The Challenge? If 90,000 students (just 1 in every 4) gave an $100 to Speed The Light on 9.9.9 there would be $9 million to strategically meet our missionaries' equipment needs, accelerating the spread of the gospel and the fulfillment of His cause.

I know I could use $100 right now, since 99% of all college students (especially freshman) are broke. But I dare YOU to dream big, because this cause is a blessing to the receivers as well as the givers. You could even make a group to raise this money if you feel that you need to share the dream. I joined this cause and somehow, one way or another I will have this money by 9.9.9

Leaving what I know for new adventures;

I know God will bless me, For taking his hand on this road.
I have my skecthbook, the suitcase version of my closet, my iPod, my camera...

Happy 100th Post! I'm so so sorry for not catching up in my blog. I'm doing my 365 and i haven't posted one single picture yet. I've been busy, and yet I've done nothing! Have you ever felt this way?

Enough about me and my hectic life, How is August coming along for you?
